An surrealist tale narrated through Instagram stories. An exercise in creative writing and storytelling by the collaboration between human and machine where the AI based art inspired the events of the plot. The story evolved as remembering a dream to find the meaning and interpret the events. Developed thanks to the Creative Morph model by Playform. A dataset called Inspiration instructs forms and outlines of the final results that will iteratively morph to resemble the other dataset called Influence that will also determine colours. The Creative Morph cycle was repeated twice with two different datasets of images, the second cycle using also the results of the first cycle plus new images to enrich variations and possibilities with the aim to create images a dark dreamish images collection to inspire a dark surreal tale. The images used in the Inspiration dataset were a selection of public domain photos labelled with the tag words “Napoli” and “Napoletani”. The images used in the Influence dataset were a selection of works inspired by my city and part of my portfolio archive.
