Our identity is shaped by our passions and life is influenced by our determination in achieving what we want. We strive everyday to reach our goals, make the living we want. We are what we do.
But, we often leave out from the narration fear. Our life is not just influenced by what we want, it is very much influenced by what we don't do because of fears. Present and future choices are very much conditioned by are struggle with what we fear.
2020 is the year we came across new fears. The pandemic of the new Coronavirus has placed us in a context where even basic human relations become a risky ground. Normality is not our comfort zone anymore. It has drastically changed the routines of everyone, forcing those already suffering from severe mental health conditions to face new demonds and struggles. The pandemic became an opportunity to push extreme ideologies. Scarcity, speculation, new rituals.
2020 is a series about the new fears post-pandemic. Depicting fear to face fear. Conceptualizing fear to understand fear. Introspecting fear to beat fear. Razionalizing fear to the extreme of absurdity.
